Michiel will scare them into submission:
Michiel and I singing "If I Could Turn Back Time" by Cher together. He just mumbled a bit and sang "Turn Back Time" over and over again, so we got a bit crazy but it was super cute and a lot of fun. Not my fault though, his mom sings it all the day every day. hehe
Brought the kids to a playground and there are these statue people there. strange. Femke decided to be part of the family:
Watched Denmark - NL at Mark's on Saturday. This is a windmill on my walk to his house:
It is pretty windy on Ijburg
A common lunch for me: Pesto, Tomatoes, Fresh Mozzerella, and green leafy things
Last week there was this thing where all the schools on the island met at one spot and went on a 5k walk. This was happened for 4 evenings, from 6pm to around 8.15 or so. Reason? They dont know, they just always have done it. ha. Hordes of children! But its a nice walk. It's a good idea.
Femke had some sort of play/presentation at school and got to dress up.
Many more pictures of the kids but I dont want to over do it hehe.
Almost 2 weeks ago was the birthday part for Wim. Was nice. Jenny worked very hard preparing the food:
And just because I like these two:
And that's what I have in pictures. Here's some words.
The house in Utrecht is now completely owned by GJ and Marlies. We're trying to work out how we're gonna work this out, because while they own the house, it is quite under improvments and re-construction and is not ready to be lived in yet. But the kids will be starting school in Utrecht while we still live in Ijburg...hahaha so the challenge is - how to work that out, with me getting the stuff here done and getting them to and from school in Utrecht. Oh baby what an adventure. It will be very busy I think. Whatever we decide, it'll be 4 weeks of that until we move in (move in date is probably around late Septemberish. But we're not sure on that either haaa).
And I have 12 shirts to iron today. Mmmmm
